Platino
Platino is a quartzite from the interior of Brazil, supplied by Sensa in a leather finish. Its mineral composition reads as clean and pure, with veining that moves in long, rolling lines like ocean waves. The leathered texture takes the shine off the stone and gives the surface a soft, tactile feel.
A leathered finish is a practical one for kitchen countertops and islands, since it hides fingerprints and water marks better than a polished face. Quartzite is still natural, porous stone, so it is sealed at installation and needs resealing over time; wipe spills up rather than leaving them to sit.
At Videa Stone we supply the material and take it all the way. We template the room, cut and shape each Platino countertop to your exact measurements, profile the edges and install the finished countertop.
