Sensa
Nilo
Nilo is a Brazilian quartzite from the Sensa Premium Collection, built on a dark grey background with faded grey veins washing across it. The veining gives the stone a real sense of movement rather than a static pattern, and it is supplied in a Mirage polished finish that lifts the depth of the colour.
Dark stone with this much movement is usually given a lead role, on an island or a run of kitchen countertops set against lighter units. Quartzite is hard-wearing, but it is natural and porous, so sealing at installation and periodic resealing are part of the routine, and spills want wiping promptly.
