Marengo
Marengo is a deep, muted grey engineered quartz from Silestone that sits close to black without going fully dark. There is no veining or pattern to read, just a dense, even tone that absorbs light and gives a kitchen a quiet, restrained weight. It is a colour chosen for simplicity.
Dark tones work hard in a kitchen, so Marengo is most often used on islands, countertops and splashbacks where it contrasts with lighter units or continues a monochrome scheme. As engineered quartz it is non-porous and never needs sealing, and it resists stains and scratches well. A trivet is still advised for hot pans.
Videa Stone supplies, fabricates and installs. We template the space, cut and shape each Marengo countertop to your measurements, finish the edges, cut the sink and hob apertures and fit the completed countertop.
