Et Calacatta Gold
Et Calacatta Gold is a marble-look engineered quartz from Silestone. A white background carries broad grey veining, with occasional golden glints picked out along the movement. It is a deliberate nod to Calacatta marble, one of the most sought-after patterns in stone, reproduced with the consistency of a manufactured surface.
The veining reads best on an island or a long countertop run with few interruptions, and it carries well up a splashback or across a bathroom vanity. Unlike the marble it references, this is engineered quartz: non-porous, never needing sealing, and resistant to stains and scratches. Hot pans belong on a trivet.
