Calacatta Volegno
Calacatta Volegno takes its cue from natural marble and its name from the Italian village of Volegno. Light grey veins with brown edges run across a pale ground, and those brown edges are what give the design its lift, especially alongside golden or brass accessories.
It suits kitchen countertops and islands where the veining has room to run, and it carries through to splashbacks and vanity tops. As engineered quartz it is non-porous, never needs sealing and holds up against stains and scratches. Pans coming off the hob should go on a trivet.
