Bromo is a dark grey ceramic drawn from homogeneous metamorphic rocks such as slate, with faded graphics and a worked texture that keeps it from looking flat. This outlet listing is a genuine offcut from earlier fabrication, priced per square metre and available straight away rather than on lead time.
Offcut sizes are limited, so remnants like this suit islands, a single countertop run, splashbacks, window sills, table tops and outdoor kitchens. Bromo is sintered stone: non-porous, so it needs no sealing, highly heat resistant, scratch resistant and UV stable, which is why it holds its colour outdoors.
